June 28, 200619 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 01:03 PM) Let's get this guy, too. The Jewish fanbase will be ours! i like the way you think, Jerry will host free lox and bagel night at the ball park.
June 28, 200619 yr Not a big deal for Kenny to be traveling with the team. Anyways, if Kenny pulls another deal for a reliever I think it'll be closer to July 31st. I think we'll wait and see how Cliff does when he comes back and if he looks even decent, I don't necessarily think you'll see Kenny make another trade for a reliever.
June 29, 200619 yr Perez is an interesting name, though I don't think the Sox are in much of a position to do anything with him. A 6.63 ERA is horrible anywhere you pitch, and given that the Sox are a major contender in a tight race, I don't think the Sox can afford to have Perez anywhere near the team. It's an intriguing prospect seeing what he has done before, but I just don't think the Sox can afford him time on the ML roster hoping he fixes his mechanics and rights the ship. Unless, of course, they can place him in AAA.
June 29, 200619 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 08:06 PM) Hernandez' GB/FB took a hit tonight Hernadez looked like junk tonight. All I kept on thinking, how far would that fly in the cell. I say pass. NEXT
June 29, 200619 yr QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 03:35 PM) i like the way you think, Jerry will host free lox and bagel night at the ball park. In all seriousness, the sox have the jewish majority, considering most of them grew up on the south side.
June 29, 200619 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 11:23 AM) And if we get Torres, we'll have 2/3 of the Kings of Israel in our bullpen. Any relievers named Saul around the league? Solomon, Saul and Bobby?
