Hey leave him alone. He's an all star pitcher.

I'm sure that gave the Red Sox more motivation to light him up, as Schilling was definitely more deserving.

Lester strikes me as being effectively wild, which means he can be tough if he goes up 0-2. There were not any really hard hit balls in the first off of Lester, though it is only the first time around. I think we can get to this guy if the good Mark Buehrle keeps us in the game.

Whose recent history clearly shows he goes through periods (e.g a month) where he struggles with his ERA and gets hit hard.

Unfortunately this is one of those time right now, and the ASB couldn't be coming up at a better time for him.

hey widger caught the ball for an out :)

Nice inning for Mark.

Uribe, Widger and Anderson due up.

Nice 1-2-3 inning for Buehrle.

Coco really hasn't hit his stride yet, I miss the Coco I saw in Cleveland

Jim Thome has a 1.247 OPS vs P, 2nd time in G, he has a 1.297 OPS vs P, 3rd time in G.

Yeah, not very likely, I'll be surprised if he even gets on base

Jim Thome has a 1.531 OPS this season Vs finesse pitchers.

Eat s*** Tim Welke.

widger grounds out...

IF Gload would be a catcher, Widger could be unemployed.

Great. We have to listen to Hawk complain about balls and strikes from a 1st inning AB for the rest of the game?

Nice job Brian.

BA starting to hit finally

3 game hitting steak for BA, what day will he break 57?

Brian Anderson is f***ing great, seriously.
