Have we thrown anyone out at home this year? I can't remember one.

I don't know about home but JD has 4 OF assists, Anderson 3 and Pods 2.

These little b**** hits are killing us tonight.

That is all.

You are familiar with the Sox closer, right?

The Sox (that's White Sox, you will refer to the Red Sox as Red Sox, BoSox, or Sawks) eat good closers for breakfast.

Another non-strikeout, contact guy who is behind every hitter.

Maybe our offense will get the memo, real tight goofy strikezone tonight. Dont swing the bat unless its shot out from the batting machine down the middle.

Bobby Jenks? What about him?

Rather than posting the Tee as would normally be the case in a game like this, I have posted the INVISIBLE BAT the sox are swinging, causing them to leave runners in scoring position.

David Ortiz doesn't even have a 1.000 OPS this season. He's not a GREAT power hitter.

In other news, KC beating Toronto 4-1 and the Twins trailing Texas 8-1. Looks like Minnesota is a bit off the widely predicted 700 pace.

kc has been playing very well as of late. they always play us tough, thank god were not playing them now. it would be even worse

Well I guess it is something that Mark only gave up one.

Buehrle's basically giving up a run per inning. It's time to shut the door and keep the scoreless from here on out, ace.

Isin't it just shocking how Minny falls back when they play real baseball teams?

I'll take your word for it, but the White Sox have not encountered a closer of Papelbon's caliber this season.

BTW pardon me, I didn't get the memo re "the sox"

no more hits, its time to jack it thome...although a hit wouldnt hurt...

BJ Ryan.

although i can't remember if the sox saw him when they played the jays

They moved the shift back to the left for Thome

LOL!

The Sox already faced BJ Ryan, who is every bit as good as Papelbon and they got a run off him, so yeah, they have.

Damn, Thome K's.

We love swinging at those breaking balls in the dirt.
