1st to 3rd can be blamed on his poor speed. 2nd to home though?

I'm talking about singles to RF where someone scores from 2nd. He hasn't thrown a single runner out at home, along with the rest of our OFers.

I think it all can go back to his speed. He clearly has a cannon still, but he just doesn't get to that damn ball fast enough and he doesn't always get set for the throw well enough.

I'll bump this up so more people can vote.

Dye is extremely disappointing on defense this year. Luckily he's having the greatest offensive year of his career.

I still stand by my statement that the outfield that started the game for the Sox today is the worst in baseball.

It's worse with Gload in RF.

I agree Dye is slowing in the outfield. His bat more than covers this up. In future years, I would move him to left and let the younguns cover center and right.

I doubt it's actually the worst, but it's pretty damn close. Why the Hell is Mack starting in CF with a lefty on the mound? Is Anderson THAT out of shape?

Has the MVP hype gotten to Anderson's head? :P
