Orioles signed catcher Chris Widger for the rest of the season.

Widger, who was hitting .184/.264/.263 in 76 at-bats before being cut by the White Sox last month, replaces Javy Lopez on the roster and will take over as Ramon Hernandez's backup.

Ha, I guess good luck.

Do we see the Orioles again this year?

With the widge on the O's, I hope not!

Good for him, glad he got picked up by another team.

Looks like I'm an O's fan now.

Makes sense since they just traded Javy Lopez to the Red Sox, who were also rumored to be interested in Widge.

They also got Brook Fordyce after us, I believe

He was part of the Charles Johnson trade.
