Because this is more painful. There are more than a handful of things we could look back at and 2nd guess. A no hitter just makes you tip your cap.

I think this is the 11th game this season that the Sox scored at least 6 runs and lost. Even if you expected the pitching to fall back a little bit, that's too high of a number.

There isn't much to 2nd guess when you get no hit.

sure noticeable mistakes happen when you blow some scoring opportunities, but you know what, if you get no hit by a guy with a 5 era your offense has some problems

im always astounded at the people who say they would rather be no hit....the only logical explanation i can come up with is that those people are Baseball fans and not sox fans
