Because there are none(unless controlling offensive linemen counts as a new feature). EA is trying to steal your money.

Madden is a great game and I will be buying it, but I was kind of disappointed in Madden 06. They really didnt have many new features, and it sucks that there isnt many new features in this years game. It pissed me off when EA bought the NFL rights because I knew this would happen.

Actually, EA is adding plenty of features to the Wii version, so I'm happy about that. For example, to throw the ball, you have to actually make a throwing motion with your arm. This replacing pressing the X button definitly adds tons of new elements to sports video games.

For me, Madden 06 was a great game, and not much else needs to be done. The control of the FB or OL during a run could be fun however.

 

I will be picking it up for sure.

This might be a dumb question...but is Madden '07 gonna be analog controlled for PS2? I really haven't played Madden that much since like 2004. I hate the analogs. You should be able to use the d-pad.

I was disapointed with madden on the 360 they cut alot of features out because they were rushed into a release. But I find that EA always makes the game pretty much the same every year. I get sick of it. I really liked 2k sports football game. I felt that it had more control over the action on the field.

Yeah, but you're forgeting about the three new tackling animations, the four new hip-hop songs added to the soundtrack, and the slicker-looking menus.

I'm the same way. I love playing seasons and doing fantasy drafts and playing seasons with those, but as soon as I play online or against someone, I get rolled.

I'm hearing NCAA is much better....especially with tackling. I'm hoping I like it better than some of the reviews I am reading, but I thought NCAA was subpar, I couldn't imagine going to something worse.

 

I guess they also did not put Madden or Michaels back in the game this year, no different camera angles, and people saying this 'superstar" mode is a complete joke

I know I started this thread, but I have been waiting for word of mouth before I fork down $40 plus.

Just picked it up for 360, cannot wait to play it

I'm still working on getting a good dynasty going on NCAA for 360.
