Borchard singled and scored in the bottom third inning and keyed a four-run rally in the fourth with a three-run shot. Scott Morgan laced a two-run triple, Jamie Burke hit a two-run homer and Ross Gload finished 4-for-5 with an RBI for Charlotte, which improved to 23-13 this year at Knight's Stadium. Jon Rauch (3-1) allowed a run and five hits, while striking out three and walking three, over six innings to pick up the win. Nate Rolison hit a solo shot in the second inning and has homered three times in his last 5 at-bats for Columbus, which has dropped two of its last three. I believe like Garland, he could get it up to 95 when needed when healthy. Too bad we may never know. Labrum, yeah. The key with him is his control- as yuo know if you fall behind 3-0 and have to lay one in there, it doesn't matter if it's 92 or 94 it's gonna get hit. Hard....On the other hand, if his slider and change are solid and the hitters have to contrantly remember his (formerly) deadly curve, even a 92mph fastall will seem like its 97 coming from that 6'11'' frame of his. As far as 1-2 thing goes, with Burle, Colon, Garland and Loaiza, all we need is someone to remind Wright that every time he hangs his curve or tries to f***ing nibble, it's has ass that;s on the line...and I don't think Cotts, Pacheco or Diaz are gonna do that until 2005 if ever. Not many of them ever really make it, tho this guy has hit everywhere he has played. Career average of .358 in minors coming into this season. Too bad could not put Kong an DL and give this guy a shot, but there has to be something wrong. Harris, I am not high on Willie. But he was doing great in AAA and could not hit out of a paper bag in majors again this year. I just want him playing CF, not 2B, let DJ/Miles/Yan sort out 2B and keep Harris in CF.
