G&T
si article I didn't see this anywhere else. Number 8 is pretty impressive after all the crap the stadium got. Wrigley takes a hit.
Kalapse
Interesting that graphic on the right side where you select a team, the Stadium pictured is the Cell as well.

Damen
The only part of that I disagreed with was the part about the neighborhood... Anyone wondering why the Sox don't have near the appeal of their woeful National League brother on the North Side need only travel the vacant blocks around U.S. Cellular Field to understand. "Anything right outside of the park is a no-go," outside of perhaps Jimbo's, one of the only taverns in the area (although a possible eviction from its premises was in the air as of this September). "Don't stray from the park if you don't know the neighborhood -- you will get into trouble real quick." Perhaps a smarter move might be to "take the red line [El] train north someplace; the Bronx has nothing on the South Side of Chicago." Jimbo's isn't the only tavern in the area, just the only tavern shown during the World Series last year. And it would have been nice had SI not tried to paint the eviction as a byproduct of Jimbo's being in a terrible neighborhood versus a rapidly improving neighborhood. There are plenty of beautiful homes and treelined streets around Bridgport, but for the fans that only know the inside of US Cellular, and the projects along 37th & Wentworth on the way to the parking lot, they wouldn't know that. That is the last thing I'd like to see to truly make the Cell a first class ballpark. Contrary to popular belief, the Cell is tucked into a rapidly appreciating neighborhood in Bridgetport, across from an improving Bronzeville, just minutes south of a thriving Chinatown, itself minutes south of the rebirth of the South Loop. But, because the Cell is bound by the Dan Ryan on the East, the Train Tracks to the West, and acres of parking lots on the North and South, most fans (and writers) will not recognize that. It'd be nice if the Sox would sacrifice some parkings for some restaurants/bars on either the NW corner of 35th/shields or the NW corner of 35th/Wentworth to fix that perception. JoeBatterz
I would have given us 10 points for team as well, given how we just won our first World Series in 88 years last season and we are still 21 games over .500 as of their date and still in the running for the playoffs this year. Those 2 points would have moved us past the Tribe and into 7th.
