New airline to Chicago

Featured Replies

Saw this on the JetBlue website. Should be nice to have such a cheap option. Hopefully they'll increase the places they fly to (now just NYC and one city in Cali).

Very exciting, though!

I was happy to see Southwest is now flying direct to DFW. Now maybe we can see that little Kappling sometime soon :)

Or she can come here.....

Oh freak yes. I can fly out of Long Beach which is a nice small airport and go into Chicago. It'll give me options to go with my usual choice of Southwest.

Maybe that's how I should celebrate my day ;)

36 bucks each way on certain days from Ohare to Long Beach. Too bad the Sox weren't playing cause I'd freaking be all over that.

Do you get to ride in an actual seat, or in the cargo hold, or on a wing?

I think they have a lot of destinations but the only nonstop ones are those two, their major ones (with other places having to stop at one of those). I have heard nothing but great things about them, plus free sat TV/radio for each seat.

That $36 deal sounds great, might try to make my first California visit, but the problem is convincing the person who's supposed to come with, and don't have much time with the deal ending tonight!

They could have turned Chicago into a hub if they used Gary.

Even with airlines, everything doesn't happen instanteneously.
