Not as good as last years champs...but a great series just the same.

Congrats Card fans

Cubs Suck

Yeah, definitely great for the Cards! I've always been a fan and root for them to win, unless they're playing us of course.

Nice win.

Once again a team accused of choking late in the season wins it all.

Baseball is a funny game.

Momentum exists.

The Tigers simply did not hit after that layoff. They can blame the layoff

like some of our fans are blaming being "tired" after winning the Series last

year.

I guess we don't have to worry about the Tigers next season.

They played til late October so they will be worn out all season and won't

repeat.

REALLY REALLY REALLY HAPPY the CARDS took it all......I lived in Michigan for three years and this whole postseason these out of the closet Tigers fans have been ripping on me and DA SOX for not making the playoffs....so cheers to you St. Louis Cardinals...thank you for shutting up my Michigan friends....especially the one that told me the SOX in 2005 were a fluke.....

I called this in september, everyone called me an idiot.

To tell you the truth, I actually felt alot of emotion when I saw them celebrating, now knowing how that feels and just wanting it so bad again.

I was so ready to put money on the Cards at the beginning of the NLCS. Man I wish I did. Damn me and my opposition to gambling based on my family history!

Anyway...it all came down to pitching, and the Tigers didn't put their pitchers in a position to succeed in the playoffs. Plain and simple.

How did the campus compare to last October?

Kudos to a guy who gets ripped quite often, Joe Buck. He has been a Cardinals fan all his life, just like Mark Buerhle, and I believe is an announcer with them now. He was very professional in how he called the national broadcast. When the Cardinals won last night he sounded no more excited for them than he was for the White Sox, even though you know deep down how happy he was.

f*** the cards.

Congrats Cards!!

Rolen, Carpenter, Edmonds, Albert, etc. all get well deserved rings.

John Rooney gets another one. So does Timo.

Joe Buck does a great job IMO.

I loved in a regular season game some fan was waving and doing stupid

things while on the cellphone like fans do right behind the announcer on the field.

Buck said, 'too bad you can't do your report without some idiot behind

you.'

I had to laugh at that.

People who wave while talking on their cells are annoying.
