The 5th firefighter injured during the CA wildfire died. It was amazing he was able to stay alive this long with 90% of body covered in Burns. That makes whom ever did this guilty of 5 counts of murder as well.

Everyday our lives are made better by firemen, policemen, soldiers, and a slew of others who have entered public service. They are largely uncelebrated until moments like this.

 

to them and their families.

I really hope they find the low lifes who started this blaze and let the families of the firefighters get after them.

They arrested a couple suspects today. I have a friend who lived just under the ridge from the fires... I remember after 24 hours, the radio machine said that a change in winds could mean his city gets evacuated.... but I think that area is safe now.

if anyone can find the guys who did it, it's Dog the Bounty Hunter.

 

Charges filed, Arson and 1st degree murder which together mean special circumstances and a death penalty case.

This was only about 30 mins. from me. Arson is one of the few crimes I just don't understand. My new barber was telling me that the area fire chief is a client of his. The chief told him that in some cases, arsonists are caught at the scene, with their pants down, staring at a fire and 'taking matters into their own hands'...if you know what I mean.
