June 19, 200322 yr If anyone in our rotation is going to get ripped, it should be Danny. He hasn't won a game yet this year, and his ERA is well over 6. What's this guy's problem? Big game today, and right out of the gate he puts this struggling offense in a VERY deep hole. Maybe Danny needs to have another visit to Charlotte so he can figure out how to pitch.
June 19, 200322 yr Danny Wright has always been and will always be a loser, ahead on virtually every hitter and once again falling behind and serving up mistakes that get hammered. Usually it's homers, but today a single was enough.. Does he not know that nibbling doesn't work? Didn't Garland/Wells/Parque/Rauch experiment not teach him anything? With his fastball, curve and change, he should be unhittable on 0-2/1-2 counts...
