June 19, 200322 yr There's the lesson: good running is not only SB and flashy stuff...but it's also Lee getting a good jump on Val's grounder to f*** with Walker's mind and it's Val busting his ass to 1st on another grounder, which messed Garciappara up for a split second...Both plays will not show up in stats, but a run scored because of them...and if Crede doesn't smack two liners right at people, Sox will probably be up 6-3 by now no small thinks to putting pressuer on defense with baserunning.
