Good Place to buy Meats...

Featured Replies

I am in the need of finding a store that sells great meats and sausages. Any suggestions of places located in Chicago would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

There is a great polish deli called Essence of Europe in Rolling Meadows on Wilke road, their prices and quality are top notch.

There is an old school butcher shop on halster and grand where you can get serious cuts of meat if needed, including large suckling pigs.

Moo & Oink?

LOL!!! I used to see ads for that place on the Chicago cable access channel and the first word that came to mind was "ghetto".

The absolute best place and I gaurantee it will not dissappoint is Bobaks on Archer right off of Cicero.

Jack and Pats is top notch. They have great stuffed pork chops, and stuffed chicken breast.

I was buying all of our meat there, however have found something a little closer to home out in the Western Burbs.

Casey's in Western Springs has a nice selection. Reminds me so much of Jack and Pats. Good quality meat, and a lot of specialization. They have great Chicken Kiev, garlic pork chops, and stuffed chicken breasts. They also have a nice selection of items they have prepared, that they have frozen for ease of cooking for quick meals.

Casey's

915 Burlington Ave.

Western Springs, IL 60558

708-246-0380

A third nomination for Jack and Pats!
