Pretty sure I'm going to lose this one to my wife. Every suggestion I make, she asks me "What does that mean?" In other words, "We're going with Guinness!"

 

I always wanted to name a dog Rudy (for Rudy Law). I suggested Rudy last night, and my wife gave her now patented response "What does that mean?" Rather than explain, I downed four raw eggs and looked forward to surprising her later.

Just so long as she understands your intent to shout "BRILLIANT!!" every time the dog does something even remotely intelligent.

Spending the better part of the day licking your balls. . . BRILLIANT!!

 

Methinks she will regret the name in short order.

Other names: Oliver, Roy, Patrick, Phill, Cornelius, Grant, etc.

I saw a street name in Cali called Zyzxx, pronounced "Zi-Zucks" and is has stuck in my head for 2 years now. I have always wanted to name something that.

My wife (as usual) gets her way. We picked up the dog Friday, and the name is officially Guiness. I like the name now, I guess. And my kids love the dog.

Next time, get a b**** dog and name her after your least favorite ex girlfriend. Mine was 'Bridget'.
