Toby Hall Update

Featured Replies

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Toby Hall (shoulder) "is healing so well that he might return next month."

Hall, who was initially expected to miss at least half the season, is scheduled to throw Monday for the first time. ''Hopefully he takes baby steps and stays on that,'' manager Ozzie Guillen said. ''I don't want him to take big strides and the fallback.''

That's great news. We sure could have used him vs Santana and CC.

That would be a big lift for us.

very good news indeed, this would be.

im not the only one who heard the voice :bang

Unfortunately, I doubt he would've had any affect on the game yesterday, but it would be nice to have him back and healthy. More importantly though, we need our mainstays to hit Johan and company.

It would be nice to get him back ASAP.

exactly.

As long as he's not rushed..

It would have been nice to have him in the lineup yesterday against Santana. Although, it might not have mattered. DAmn you Santana!

its obvious how much we need him by the fact that A.J. has played in 6 straight games.....thats very rare for a catcher

I'm sure Molina will get the day game on Wednesday. But it's clear they want to play him as little as possible. It will be a godsend to get Toby back at the end of this month or sometime in May because I don't think we could go a full year with Molina as the backup. I just don't see him as ready for the bigs just yet.
