Same here. Get back to me in 9 years.

Wow, I cant really express how huge this is for the city. Real estate, development, the entire lake front on the south side of chicago. Huge!

Chicago still has to compete with global competitors over the next two years for the hosting rights of the 2016 Olympics.

If we won the actual Olympics for the US, you would see changes as soon as it was announced. This is huge for this city.

But this doesn't mean that Chicago gets it though, right? This just means that Chicago is the city that the US Olympics committee backs in the pledge to get the 2016, right?

Now to plan avoiding driving to Chicago for the entire summer in 2016......

We have a good chance. And I believe to compete for the actual games, we need to start some of the projects.

We dont want you here anyways.......

I would rent out my condo for the entire games at a premium and stay the hell away from the city for sure.

I bet you stay in the city if the city hosts the Olympics. this is kinda a once in a life time thing that will happen in Chicago.

Well you got about 9 years to think about it..

Great. What an honor. <_>

Chicago, Tokyo, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, and Madrid are the main competitors right now it seems.

AWESOME!!! I can't wait two years to find out if Chicago gets it or not!

Damn you all and your need for instant gratification!

Now I think this bring upon the question...when do the Olympics finally make it to Ames, Iowa?
