A few people have mentioned Callaspo as exactly the type of leadoff hitter we should have, possibly replacing Iguchi. Carlos Quentin is pretty higher regarded, Conor Jackson seems like he could go either way.

He's back over .200 and seems to be gaining some confidence...I saw him rip a double last night agaisnt SF. I think he has 2 homers and 10 RBI's, which would be close to leading the White Sox.

April 21, 200718 yr They'll be fine in the long run. Lucky to be hitting in a good ballpark too. The D-Backs just need to develop some young pitching to go with that young core.

Jackson couldn't carry Overbay's jock defensively. He really is bad. I like Jackson as a hitter...and at some point he'd be better served in the AL...but good god he's bad defensively.
