All Star Voting

is already up. Let's stuff the ballots, Chicago-style.

Also, is this starting a bit earlier than normal???

Jim Thome. That is all.

eh I still vote for the ENTIRE lineup :D

Though it's fun, I hope we're not on that extra man ballot this year. I need a break. :D

Thome has to be a write in?

^Prolly the only guy would vote for as of this moment.

I dont, I only vote for the players who are deserving of a spot based on their production.

Thats just me though.

Im sure the majority of Red Sox And Yankee Fans will agree with you and follow your lead

No DH on the ballot. (especially since it's in an NL park this year)

Paulie has the 1b nod for the Sox on the ballot.

kinda sucks thome has to need some write in votes. hopefully if he keeps it up, the coaches and players put him on. and all-star voting shouldn't start until june 1st, imo. at least memorial day weekend.

NL years always piss me off because David Ortiz plays at first for the American League, making it one of the 16 games a year he plays in the field.

I can't wait to vote for our .200 average sluggers! :P

There's no point in voting, the Sox are just never gonna have a starter voted in.

When has it even been close? The smallest gap probably averages 200,000 or so from the leading vote getter per position.

I'll vote once like I always do, but it's futile. If they couldnt get a starter voted last year, the year after winning a championship when the bandwagon hopping fans vote for the winners, they'll never get one.

I can't wait until we get a third player on the fan balloting this year.

We've already had Frank twice, Maggs, Pods, and AJ.

My bad, reading too fast. Thought you were talking about vote winners. So have the Sox had a player on that ballot every year since the inception?

Everything NL pisses me off.

I'm getting jumbled with what years Frank and Maggs were on there (I'm starting to doubt myself and think Maggs might have been on there twice too?) I know one year, both were on the same ballot.

I'm talking about winning for the third year in a row although nothing will ever be sweeter re: all-star votes than getting AJ on there last year.

Unless we get Erstad on this year. hahahaha

Now that would be classic.

I found this:

Now that Pierzynski is on the Final Vote ballot, it marks the fifth year in a row that the White Sox have had at least one representative. No other club has had a choice for fans every year.

If that's the case, I want to say it was

2002--Maggs

2003--Frank

2004--Frank/Maggs

2005--Pods

2006--AJ

yet rather than spending time fixing this problem, i'd rather b**** about it on a message board. if we can somehow get a guy voted in during the final position player period, we should be able to get a guy for the starter position. easiest person to get voted in would be iguchi. should get some strong support from Japan voters too.

200,000 votes is nothing. 25 votes per day x 40 days= 1,000 votes. What, there aren't 200 people who could do that???
