Konerko

Featured Replies

Konerko just hit his 2nd homer of the night and has a single. Do you think he's heating up or was this just a good night? Hopefully he comes around. Then we can get Dye to start hitting and we're set!

For about the last 5 years this team heats up with the weather.

Paulie looks much better tonight. Hopefully he has found his groove. The Sox really could use his bat (and not of the sub-.200 variety).

Hopefully hes starting to heat up. We can use all the fire power in our offense we can get.

We just have to make sure Thome stays hot too.

Go Global Warming? :D

i wouldn't speak too soon on konerko, i think he is out of his funk now but here comes his dreaded month of may, but maybe he substituted april

I think he's heating up.

Paulie is not over the hill.

Loved Thome hitting that dribber to foil the shift late.

If a team runs the shift, it seems like it should be a fine-able offense

to ground out to the right side.

I'd take that dribbler through the open hole every time if I was Thome.

Then if they play it regular, go for the deep bombs.

Do you all agree? Or should he blast away when the shift is on?

I think it just depends on the situation. RISP, outs, etc.

Eventually, over the course of a season, the better players reach their historical levels, or damn close to them. That is why teams pay the big contracts.

Yes.

Little by little the whole team seems to be swinging the bat better. Pauly had a sweet night last night, but looking up and down the box score, the hits are starting to come.

1 night is way to quick to say a player is "heating up," but it was great to see nonetheless, especially considering his miserable night the day before.

Paulie will be fine. If he could survive that almost season long slump he had a few years back, he can survive anything. That 2nd home run last night was a missle shot, not easy to hit a 415 foot liner like that. Riske is the MASTER of serving up hanging sliders though.

God willing. Sunday was probably the worst I have ever seen Pauly. He was completely lost.

go paulie take us on your back for a month or four.

Alright AJ/JD. Your turn to get going.
