April 28, 200718 yr So....I was thinking about who we could acquire to play DH against RHP if Thome is out for a month or two, and one name comes to mind as a very possible candidate: a .354 batting average with a .956 OPS in AAA. He has two WS rings. He's none other than Timo Perez.
