May 6, 200718 yr http://www.kansas.com/static/slides/050507tornadoaerials/ This is the arial shots of the Kansas tornado that hit last night. Holy s***, this is serious damage. If only 8 people lost their lives, it's a miracle, when you see this kind of damage.
May 6, 200718 yr QUOTE(BearSox @ May 6, 2007 -> 02:06 AM) Sometimes it is amazing how this planet and universe work. That's kinda what I was thinking when watching the video.
May 6, 200718 yr Those are some damn lucky idiots. That thing could of turned and killed them in seconds or debris could have skewered them.

May 7, 200718 yr QUOTE(THEWOOD @ May 6, 2007 -> 08:18 AM) great video, i have always wanted to see one in person. i think they are very fascinating ^^^ I have this thing about natural disasters. I don't know why, but they facinate me. Maybe I should be a Cubs fan?
May 7, 200718 yr My dad has actually gotten live footage of a tornado, and I've definitely seen the beginning of the formation of a funnel cloud. Let me just say it's not really a cool thing to see when you are at a softball complex with no shelter in sight. We got out of their in time, but at some point it turns quickly from "cool" to "I wonder if that thing is actually dangerous." There was no tornado that day, but I recall like an hour later a crazy ass thunderstorm.
