May 9, 200718 yr I think I'm bad mojo for D Lucy. A few weeks ago I updated his AAP thread with his ridiculous 400+ AVG, and he came back to earth. I posted yesterday he had thrown out 10 of 14, then today 3 guys steal on him.
May 9, 200718 yr Nice to see Gio get back on track. Carter just keeps on hitting as well, which is good news.
May 10, 200718 yr Justin Edwards is flying up our prospect lists, still won't be 20 until September or October. Also, someone please tell Jason Rice to work on his control, he has always put up nasty K numbers.
May 10, 200718 yr Phillips gets his ass handed to him on a plate. 5.1, 10 H, 5 R (5 ER), 3 BB, 2 K, 1 HR and Wiki does work, 2 jacks and 5 ribs.
May 10, 200718 yr QUOTE(BearSox @ May 9, 2007 -> 10:37 PM) nice to see Gio with a nice rebound... The kid obviously knows what he is doing at the AA level. I want to see him tested at AAA.
May 10, 200718 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 9, 2007 -> 11:27 PM) Anderson 1/3 with 2 walks, 2 runs scored, and 2 strikeouts. Fields 1/5. Anderson is failing to do the one thing he really needs to do -- cut down on the Ks. From the numbers, he's the same hitter he has always been. Maybe his swing/approach just can't be fixed.
May 10, 200718 yr Gio back to normal is nice. Carter continues to be ON FIRE, and I am really starting to like what I see from Justin Edwards, another sub 6 foot lefty pitching prospect, which is interesting (and another mighty mite lefty who pitched in relief in that game, Noe Rodriguez, has been really good so far this year for Kanny). Also, Cunningham has been slumping a bit. 1 for 4 last night has him at .322, but he was at .350 just a few days back, and his OPS has dipped just a bit under 900 now. QUOTE(SoxAce @ May 9, 2007 -> 06:36 PM) I gotta start keeping my eye on Lujan. Yeah, 10 scoreless in a row. He's been on a roll. Edited May 10, 200718 yr by whitesoxfan101
