How impressive would it be if Owens played 162 games and didn't draw a single walk?

Iguchi, Thome and Konerko are starting to hit a little. The problem is somebody has to hit 5,6,7,8,9, and even 1. ... and we thought we had a problem with automatic outs in the 8 and 9 spots last year. I suddenly miss those Brian Anderson days.

The way the lineup has handled Sampson thus far, even with their offensive troubles, if less than five runs are across the board I'll be shocked. Nearly every out has been crushed.

 

They let him off the hook to settle in and realize this offense sucks. They may get three possibly four as they are not facing the Yanks or Blue Jays bullpen.

Mackowiak should be leading off. He's giving this team some good at-bats. Put Terrero in CF when Dye is healthy.
