Fields RBI double

Watching Mark this year, saddens me. He is a home grown talent. What I remember being most impressed about him, was the stones he had from day one. He has been a talent and a quality guy for the whitesox. It will sadden me to see him go, hopefully KW realizes what a special talent he is, and gets max benefit from his trade. This guy can take a playoff quality team and just give them quality starts over and over and over.

In the NL, he could win 20 games easily.

I dont get attached to too many players. Everyone locks into a player, a favorite.

Ventura was that player for me in the 90s. I still remember the chills I had when he hit that slam off of Gossage. I remember how loud that place was when we left the park. It really made me proud to be a sox fan.

Being at Game 2 of the WS was louder, and much much more special.

How do you take a 2-strike pitch right down the middle?

Is that 7 pitches and 2 strike outs for Gooch? My god.

That guy is fast...

Owens still without a walk.

Mark, you've got 2 runs. Now shut up and pitch. If you want anymore offense, you need to do it yourself.

I really don't want to trade Mark.

If he's not gonna sign, you pretty much have to. As much as it sucks.

If they can sign him for + years, I don't think anyone would want him gone. :pray

Never pitched an inning in my life, but 2nd base, no outs and the batter clearly trying to hit to the right side to get the guy to 3rd, why would you pitch him away? Isn't that doing what the batter wants?

Hopefully Mark pitches out of it.

We have 2 hits through 5 innings. On pace for another 4 hitter tonight.

That contact by Owens on that grounder was embarrassing.
