June 24, 200718 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:46 PM) So....how many teams are going to give us a ton for him then? None of the smart ones, but that doesn't mean he needs to be talked about as a future starter, a centerpiece of this team, or anything other than roster fill until his performance finally starts to match that (faulty) scouting report we were sold.
June 24, 200718 yr WHY THE f*** DID WE NOT BEAM SORIANO IN THE HEAD? That was basically the only reason I went to the game today
June 24, 200718 yr QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WHY THE f*** DID WE NOT BEAM SORIANO IN THE HEAD? That was basically the only reason I went to the game today I would of went to see that now-a-days too. Going to a game and expecting a win is too much to ask for. June 24, 200718 yr How many times will Josh Fields fan if he gets 300 ab? I'm thinking about 115. What is Andy Gonzalez doing in a WhiteSox uniform? Ridiculous. The fact that he bats second or even leads off occassionally makes it border on insane. When is KW going to actually do something other than say he's going to do something? Maybe if he took action 25 games ago the season could have been salvaged. This team is terrible. 2 runs in 3 games. 1 run in the last 26 innings. Its time to do something now. Anything.

June 24, 200718 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 11:04 PM) Because there was no reason to? What? Do you appreciate players who sit and watch their home runs at home plate for about 20 minutes? Or jump up and down after a good play like he just won the World Series? Maybe I haven't watched enough baseball, but usually these things aren't looked kindly on by opposing players. At the very least, it would have been better to put him on first.

June 24, 200718 yr And what Soriano normally does is obnoxious. Unfortunately, none of our pitchers can make it hurt.
June 24, 200718 yr Everybody knows they are going to get on a hot streak in late August or September blowing our chance at the 1# Pick in next years draft.
