I really should start picking up whatever pitcher faces the Sox on my fantasy team. Every so often they'll get the s*** bombed out of them but every so often isn't that often.

There's a reason why I'm in first place in Soxtalk Leagues 1 and 4.

Our starters could end the season with ERA's under 3.00 and still have records like 5-15.

s***...I'd be stoked with Wood and Adenhart. Both are high upside but neither is guaranteed success (than again who is).

I know it sounds like a lot but Wood, Adenhart, Arredondo and Conger would be my asking price and I would not budge from it. It would give you 2 huge upside replacements for both Thome and Buehrle as well as add 2 very young, unproven incredibly talented players to the system as well.

I still really like Brandon Wood even if he has struggled a bit this season, that power potential is still very much there. Wood, Another Young player, Jose Arredondo, and Hank Conger would do it for sure.

That would damn near restock the system. It would be amazing. Part of me asks what happens if the Angels come to Kenny with a similar deal for a guy like Konerko (who is the face of the franchise, but everyone has to potentially be available).

 

I still say Thome needs to be moved if you can get him to agree to a deal. He would command a ton of in return (plus he's still signed for another season).
