I threw up in my mouth a little.

I guess I'm excited about Richar, Gonzalez and Egbert. I'm skeptical about the rest.

The only one on that list that I feel NEEDS to be up THIS YEAR for a significant amount of time is Floyd. I'm not high on him but he needs to spend about half a season up here so we can know what we have.

I've been trying to follow Gavin since we grabbed him, and I think he'll be up before the end of the season, but I'm not sure I want him in the rotation for the big league team yet. I wouldn't mind giving him another full month in AAA just to get himself more adapted to the groove he's in. A big part of the problem with him and the Phillies seems to have been that they rushed him up to the big leagues, straight from AA, and he was overmatched. There's nothing wrong with babying him a little bit, as long as we have time before the trade deadline.

But yeah, he's the one guy I want to see up before the end of the year.

Floyd and Richar.

Floyd has earned it with his results lately. No need to torch the confidence of any of the younger guys. Our established starters have pitched OK and lost. Why do something that could damage the psyche of the younger guys? Starting pitching has not been the problem. Relief pitching has.

As for the position guys, Collaro isn't much of a prospect. He strikes out nearly once for every three at bats in AA. Bourgeois is a reject from at least one, if not two teams. His early numbers at Charlotte were beyond his normal production. Richar is probably our second baseman of the future.

I'm really starting to get impatient. All these rumors, a few guys in AAA who should be up in the MLB, but nothing is happening.

It's still June. We'd all love for something to happen right now but Kenny isn't going to rush into a deal.

Technically it would be Ryan Sweeney and Gavin Floyd. However, I am also very excited to see a couple of those other pitchers.

Russell is not ready but Egbert/Gio could be interesting guys to watch late in the season (as they get there feet wet). I also really look forward to seeing Richar play.
