June 27, 200718 yr Please post your questions for first baseman Chris Carter. Carter has been destroying the minor leagues and moving up the organizational prospect chart. Carter ranks with Josh Fields and Tom Collaro in terms of pure power potential. Note: The Floyd interview will hopefully be up in the coming week.
June 28, 200718 yr Do you think you could play 3B in the majors, or are you better suited at 1B? What do you think is your best quality as a hitter? Someone correct me if I am wrong on this one: We/I have heard you prefer to be called Vernon rather then Chirs. Why is that? Hey gage, great job with this new interviews.
June 28, 200718 yr You have really cut down your strikeouts and walked alot more year by year in the minors. (hell most of your stats have increased) Have you learned to just be patient, seeing the ball better with experience or are you just too good? You power is also sexy btw. Is there a preference ballpark that you love to go to growing up? I see you were a Cali native. Personality wise, are you more of a quiet guy, very talkative or kinda in-between/selective?
June 28, 200718 yr Do you watch the box scores of the teams at levels above the place where you are playing to see how your competition is doing?
June 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 06:47 PM) Do you do anything other than catch touchdowns? Haha, nice.
June 29, 200718 yr Is there any pressure being the best hitting prospect in the minors for the White Sox (you know with Fields in the Majors)? [Dodges tomatoes for Sweeney lovers] Serious questions Which of the home ballparks that you've played in is your favorite and why? What have you noticed is different about your game from when you were in high school? What's it like being so cool?
