Yesterday's comments by Buehrle make it seem as if most of what we've heard about the contract situation is actually true....it's now in the Sox's hands about whether or not they'll give the NTC, as Buehrle's camp won't give in (nor should they).

Since the White Sox are doing everything possible to piss me off this year, probably. And there won't be an "elite" prospect in the deal.

 

On a side note, why is the OF not Owens-Terrero-Mack?

Owens misplayed some balls yesterday in LF, so they probably put him in Center to prevent that.

Everytime something comes up with KW and the Sox, it is out of the blue (Vazquez, Thome, Garcia, etc). At most something comes out a day or two prior, but nothing ever drags on for a couple of weeks, then happens. That is also a reason why resigning him seems like will never happen.

Can someone remind me what is the upside of having A.J. on this team? He has always been known for his offense, and his defense is very suspect. And he has been terrible offensively and I think his D has gotten worse. I really would like to see a ML ready catching prospect brought in.

He handles the pitchers phenomenally. I'd still much rather have AJ behind the plate than Toby Hall.
