Any time you can get a high upside player like Ramirez for a 40 year old rent-a-player you've done a good job. Ramirez BTW is the player the Indians received in return for Bob Wickman last year. Interesting and very plausible. KC prob. overpaid for Dotel but they were smart, it now looks as if they'll get something useful for him. KC has lots of OF. Now since the White Sox are trading with KC again, send them Tyler Lumsden II and get Joey Gathright. He is no worse a CF option than what we have now. Granted, Lofton is nothing close to what he was with them during his first stint, but nonetheless, Sizemore and Lofton at the top of that lineup will be very dangerous on the basepaths.
