AJ fooled the cameraman on that

QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 4, 2008 -> 05:57 PM)
There is nothing wrong with Uribes D, thats a silly 'conclusion' after one mental error. Its not new news that Uribe is a bit of a mental liability defensively, but there is nothing wrong with his glove work.

Good lord guys.

I agree....time to move on and quit over-reacting on Juanny's D

How soon people forget the catch by Uribe in the WS 2005

hhaha nice.. AJ !! Looked like he did that on accident.

I LOVE contact AJ

AJ is a GD monster at the plate right now!

AJP is simply on fire :gosox1:

AJ is on fire so far this year!!! 3 doubles already.

AJP GOING FOR THE BATTING TITLE

Amazing how we struggled against lefties all of last year and this year our 2 lefties (Thome and AJP) are leading the way killing the lefties

5-2 good guys :headbang

Who do the White Sox have that is better defensive at second than Uribe?

It is a sad situation when Juan Uribe is your best option at 2b....we should have taken care of this already

Inside fastball. Quentin K's.

It would be really nice to get into that bullpen early in game 1 of this series. Especially with Dontrelle up tomorrow.

It's amazing how good of a hitter AJ is when he just tries to drive the ball to the opposite field. Gotta shut 'em down right here, JC.

The problem is 2nd base isn't a defensive position. He is even more worthless there than he was at short.

Gotta love 3 runs after 2 outs and the bases empty.

Maybe Kenny knows more than some of you guys here?

"All this has done is put the Tigers in a better position to contend with us" - Kenny Williams (December 12, 2007)"

Remember we did go 11-7 last year against them despite the horrible year we had

Danny Richar would be a nice option if he didn't have that whole rib situation. You're not going to have a f***ing stud at every base.

its been so opposite over the years its weird...when we were good, and they stunk...they gave us problems....when they are good, we give them problems...

i think the year they won 43 games, they were like 9-9 or 10-9 against us that year

It's the 4th f***ing game of the season one of the worst things you can do as a fan is overreact to early season happenings. And if the Sox are significantly better than the Tigers this year the only person on the face of the earth who saw it coming was KW.

my god, contreras is garbage. seriously control problems, where have i seen this before?

I'm sorry, was that catch made at second base or something?

Playing great shortstop defensively does not equal playing great defense at any other infield position.

Why don't we ask Alex Rodriguez how easy it is to transition from shortstop to another infield position?

How the hell this organization got into this position is beyond me. A streaky .230ish hitter with SOME pop playing out of position is a liability in almost every respect compared to many other alternatives.

I hate the way people misinterpret that quote.
