Wow, the finale was great.

Very eventful.

The way Dwight set Holly up by telling her Kevin was mentally retarded was great.

I'm guessing Toby replaces Ryan, just makes sense.

Not surprised the Angela and Andy thing isn't going to last either.

Paul Lieberstien and BJ Novak were/are writers on the show. They just made their way in front of the camera. I would bet that they have been written off so that they can put a couple of proven writers onto the spinoff.

Do you guys really think Toby will stay with Dunder Mifflin?

I just figured he wanted to leave for good. I understand the actor is a writer for the show.

Anyway, that was a crazy episode. Lots and lots going on; it was fun though.

I just feel it would be ironic for him to

replace Ryan

, I mean Michael hates him and this is like the best day of his life.

Toby taking the catbirds seat would be perfect.

no Toby = I'm a lot less interested :(

The yoga/yoda moment was great. I thought Carrell was awesome tonight.

Edited by fathom

I thought Toby was going to Costa Rica. Why would an HR representative replace a business executive? Toby's gone.

Great episode, though. Did not expect that ending, or the other surprise.

Seriously, that was the funniest parts of the whole episode. I was falling out of my chair laughing as some of those scenes.

my gf thinks im a jerk, but good god i am so glad jim didnt end up proposing to pam...i was so happy..here i am thinking the office is going all "romantic" on me, and poof what happens....the hilarity of andy proposing to angela instead of jim to pam...props to the writers for choosing humor over romance....

Andy stealing the proposal and the hilarity of the characters involved was great. As was Angela and Dwight doing it at the end of the episode for Phyilis to find

Agreed. That was hilarious. The part with the bowl of M&Ms and the vending machine scene were awesome.

It will be interesting because the Office hasn't done traditional "cliffhangers" where everything is frozen in time until the fall and then pick up where they left off. Usually they start a new season as if 3-4 months passed. So whatever happens with Pam and Jim would have happened already. It was a solid finale and looking forward to next season

Why would an intern jump about 5 levels and get the job in the first place?

You can't always go off realistic when talking the Office, but yeah, I'd think Toby is gone.

He was hired full-time first and then got his MBA. Seems like a plausible career move to me.
