Thome is one of the streakiest players in baseball. When he's in a slump, he can't hit anything. Its amazing everytime he goes through a slump, how many think he's washed up.

Yeah, eventually he's not going to be able to get hot anymore, but he was so hot the last week or so before spring training ended and lit up Sabathia, he's still good at least for this season as long as he's healthy.

Its been nice. He really hasn't been a high OBP guy in the past. Maybe he's becoming wiser with age.
