Lets go Paul, make up for your lackluster defensive effort last inning.

When is the last time the sox scored a run by NOT hitting a homerun? Has to be a while

Fun tidbit I just heard: K. Gibson knew from advance scouting that Eckersley was going to throw a 3-2 backdoor slider.

I heard that a few years ago.

Holy s*** they are hitting the ball.

Wow 2 doubles and 3 hits a one inning... been a long time guys.

What is this? Keep it going!

nice job paulie, maybe this is the game where we start to turn it around? i don't expect the whole lineup to start hitting at once but all it takes is one or two guys to get it started, swisher looked like he really saw the ball well in that second at bat, same with Jim and Paulie

Dye will line into a triple play. I'm sure of it. <_>

LOL

Dye's had some fantastic pitches to hit this inning. Halladay is getting his pitches up in the zone.

That was nasty. Tough to lay off or foul off.

Just terrible Jermaine! He looks so lost. I wish Anderson was playing instead of him.

Come on carlos.

i bet he has struck out on low and a way sliders 10 times in the last half week

He has no balance at the plate. His back foot is moving all over the place. He's beginning to look like a right handed Hal Morris.

Why does he get hit so much? I don't get it.

LOL, Quentin is just a beanball magnet. I didnt see it live, Im watching gameday. Hopefully it wasnt too painful

Crede still sucks.

Crede jams himself....nice to get 3 runs.

shouldn't have been, it didn't hit him in the nipple

it was thrown right at him, not much he could've done.

Watch where he positions his arms. He's liable to get hit with any pitch that's high and inside. Some of the pitches he gets hit with are borderline strikes.

I dunno, it seems like he gets hit in the back a lot too.

i see some damage done by the sox this inning after that 1-2-3 by contreras (and i'm not talking about damage to their stats lol)
