Southsider, since this will be my first softball game, where will it be taking place?

Also, how many people are going to the game after?

2pm, at the park directly north of the B parking lot north of the ball park.

For the second part, I have no idea how many people are taking in the game.

1.Its not too late to join.

2.WSI is Whitesoxinteractive.com, another fine independant White Sox message board.

3.You don't have to get "approved" to play, but we would like to know ahead of time if possible, that way we can have an idea of how many people are coming to play.

I'm making a comeback, ya'll...

It looks like I will be able to make it back after all... :) :) :)

We'll see if my sinister plans stay together...

Now last year, I wanted my daughter to go to her first baseball game in Chicago, and it got rained out. Now, I have resurrected hopes that I can try, try again for her first game at Sox park ... :D

Here is our updated list for the game this Saturday. Final Details to follow in the next day or two. Let us know if there are any changes and you can or can't attend (also, if you haven't signed up but are interested, its never too late so feel free to throw your name into the hat). Also, if your coming out, feel free to bring friends or family (the more the merrier).

I make the f***ing line up!

I'm definitely out. I'm tailgating early with about 20 friends and then taking in the game. It's my bachelor party.

If anyone wants to stop by our tailgate and say hello just PM me and I'll give you my cell #.

Gage you left Molto off the list.He told me he is a definite go.Edit:Didnt see the little guy was on there my bad.

I'll play wherever you put me, but I pitched last year and people seemed to want to keep me there. There's an art to pitching in 16".

How much did that cost you?

Good thought guys...

Where do people play?

I am pretty sure NSS is pitching, unless anyone else is experienced. He did last year and was great.

I'll play anywhere as well, but the middle OF/SS/SB are my specialties.

He prefers the term, miniature italian.

I wouldn't mind playing 2B/OF, but I'll play anywhere (except catcher).

I'll play anywhere, but if you stick me in the middle-infield it just means we have a lefty playing there, however, I'm happy to do it cause I have pretty good range (although I've played 16 inch one time ever).

I will play only if I'm allowed to hit off a tee.

Don't worry, Jeff will put the ball in his hand and you can hit the ball off that.

Too tall.

When I played 12", I was at 3B/OF. Preferably OF, though.

I can supply my own tee you big jerk. I keep one handy, along with a softer softball (safety reasons), for situations like this.

"FIRESALE!"

...

I'd like to play shortstop, as I did that well for half the game last year. Short or second, but I prefer short.

The corners look like the hardest places to fill (LF, RF, 3B, 1B) and then someone can catch.

I'll play one of the corner OF spots then.
