There were a lot of guys who looked to be sulking in the dugout after Anderson's homer. Most noticeably was Jermaine Dye.

Why do you think they were sulking?

Sad about Loaiza getting sent away?

Gavin apparently not done after all.

That ball got killed.

4-2 Ball game, Ozzie why wouldn't you take Floyd out?

FWIW, Rockies have two real good relievers in Bucholz and Fuentes. Ozzie continues his horrible stretch of managing by letting Floyd start the 7th. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS OZZIE!

Because how can the starter get the win? I can't believe Ozzie left Floyd in this inning to get past Ianneta. Why not just let Thornton face Hawpe, who's a much bigger threat than Ianneta? Awful!

Well we're back to the days of a 1 run (now 2 run) deficit feeling insurmountable. Way to go leaving Floyd in. He should have been yanked last inning.

If all the scores hold true, the Tigers will be 7 games out. That's amazing considering the Sox had a 6.5 game lead coming into the Tigers series.

Floyd has done everything we could ask of a 5th starter making league minimum. We know he gives up loads of long balls. This game rests on the offense's shoulders. It has to pull its weight. Francis really has not looked impressive and we aren't doing a thing. I bet if we couldn't score a run of Lincecum in 30 innings.

Lift and pull, guys. Don't bother trying to go the other way against a lefty.

Dye singles. Swisher comes up to bat, Dye advances to second on a wild pitch.

Great eye by Swisher!

Swisher walks, 2 on, Francis is done.

Another wild pitch by Herges with Crede up would be delightful.

How many home runs has Floyd given up tonight?

That's not good. I thought he was the one doing so much better in the dept too.

It sure looked like Herges balked on that 2-0 pitch.

Dodger announcers said their visit to the Tiger clubhouse today revealed that they were "unimpressed" with the White Sox.

Common Joe!

Crede has to shorten his swing up. A double down the line would work fine.

How could they have been impressed after the mediocre effort we gave in Detroit?
