No one wonders who the 18th person who didn't have Seinfeld on their list was?

Was it me? I thought I put it on, but now I'm wondering.

I also was surprised Roseanne didn't crack the top 40.

More surprising is 4 people did not have the simpsons

I was one of them. I decided it would be more fun for me to rank my personal favorites, and I just never got into the show. If it was more of a universal what are the Top 20 comedies, I would have had them in second or third. I was surprised after I started to rank them that shows like Happy Days, Coach, 3rd Rock From the Sun, and a couple others did not make my Top 20. There are a lot more quality comedies then I thought.

I was surprised that Frasier and M*A*S*H were not in the Top 10.

I should've voted for this to give my props to WKRP in Cincinnati. I love that show.

"Travis, with God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly." Arthur Carlson

That was a great show. It actually got better with time.

Two and a half Men didnt make the list, yet How I Met Your Mother did?

Dont get me wrong I love HIMYM but 2.5 should be on this list. Unless I missed it.

I didnt make a list but I'm glad 1 and 2 were in that order.

Simpsons has mad more crappy seasons than good ones now, so that alone should keep them from the #1. Seinfeld went out on top and deserves it

I don't think I have ever laughed during an episode of Seinfeld. I find the show to be downright horrible, and have to change the channel immediately whenever it comes on. I seriously have no idea why so many people think it is so funny, but there must be something to it. And no, I didn't do a list, so it wasn't me who left it off.

The mystery person who left it off was... me.

Never have been a fan.

I don't like a lot of shows that other people do.

Friends, Cheers, Raymond, Arrested Dev, Entourage, Curb Your Enth...

I haven't even watched the Simpsons for at least 10 years.

I had shows on my list that hardly anyone mentioned.

In Living Color

Futurama

NewsRadio

Just Shoot Me

WKRP

I like all of them on your list.

NewsRadio was one of about 15 for 5 spots at the bottom of my list. Too bad the show's run was cut short by Hartmann's murder. And Just Shoot me was on my list too. I am a big David Spade fan.

I am so glad Futurama is back with the new movies they have had

No Benny Hill?? No Stooges? Or am I missing the premise of this list?

I didn't submit a list, but Seinfeld would not have been on mine. I tried on several occasions to watch that show and it just never did a thing for me. I'm not going to go into reasons I didn't care for the show because it was such a highly respected show and I don't want to get into defending my point of view with 8,000 Seinfeld fans. So I'll just leave it at I didn't like the show and couldn't sit and watch it.

Had I sent in the list, I would have been one of those people. I never really watched the show or was a fan of it.

I had "Working" on my list.

I enjoyed that show.

Did they have more than one new movie? The only one I saw was the one with Bender essentially going back in time and stealing crap.

On a sidenote, I'm surprised at no Family Matters or Step by Step love. As a kid I was a massive fan of those shows.

i will go to my grave never understanding how someone can think just shoot me was funnier than seinfeld ...not pickin on you knight....i just dont get it

I also had "Men Behaving Badly" on my list.

An all time classic with Schneider. I know of one other person that likes that show and me and him always joke about how great it was and how much it sucked that it got cancelled.

The Three Stooges was not a sitcom. Those were all categorized as short films.

I believe both were on my list. Good call.

Agreed.

I don't see where it says its sitcoms....plus since when is Late night with Conan a sitcom? :huh

I was one who didn't have The Simpsons on my list. To my way of thinking it's a frickin' cartoon, not a comedy (though it is funny).

From what I understood, it was supposed to be sitcoms. My entire list was just that. I left off shows like Conan and Chappelle's Show and the Stooges.

Interestingly, there are 12 shows on the final list that I have never seen.
