I could... best day of my life was last August (or was it September) when I saw the Wolverines beat Washington and the Sox beat the Tigers on the very same day - the best feature of Comerica (and they do have wonderful large soft pretzels) are the bas reliefs of tigers with what are supposed to baseballs in their mouth but look like fur balls - no good parking at Comerica so maybe I won't go -

The Tigers with baseballs in their mouths looked really cool. Do they look that bad now? I parked right across the street, but I did get there about 2 hours early. I liked the tall stools and tables at the top of the concourse. I was kind of pissed that it was three weeks into the season and they didn't have any media guides. (I collect them)
July 8, 200322 yr Author The only thing about Comerika that I really liked was the way the stadium was set low and the skyline became a part of the view in CF. Other than that, it is either all borrowed ideas, or way to circus like for my tastes.

That is at least two road games (the July 2001 or was it 2000 at Miller) that we have attended at the same time - I thought and still think those bas relief tigers looked like they were coughing up fur balls the April 2000 game I went to was the Saturday game, Eldred won 2-1, and that was the day I met Jim Parque, Sirotka, and PK I usually go once a season but can't decide about tomorrow then again I will be their Sunday for the Eminem concert and then road trip to Chicago and I get so damned tired of driving sometimes

I hated Miller for that feeling inside and cramped - one side of it looked like an factory wall or soemthing with all the girders for the roof - and no one I have talked to has ever understood what I mean so thank you very much for that comment!

Foulke came in with two out in the 8th and I was screaming that I wanted to bet anyone a dollar that he'd K the first guy he saw. Sure enough - he did. We had agreat time. Went to the museum and casino (of course). The ride home was hell, though (construction). The Milwaukee game was 2001. I think Biddle started that game.

I'll keep you posted. I guess we are sitting in the picnic area. We'll be there for Saturday's game then leaving early Sunday morning to hit Cedar Point on the way home!
