November 26, 200817 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 08:57 AM) He was the captain, he was NOT one of the vandals. Jeremy Roenick and Keith Tkachuk were the main vandals, and when finding out they destroyed their hotel room(s), Chelios PERSONALLY PAID FOR THE DAMAGES because he felt responsible as team captain. The guy is nothing but a class act, and I feel his #7 should hang in the rafters. My bad then. Maybe I have him confused with JR; I thought there was some kind of Blackhawk connection to the actual trashing, but I guess JR was already gone then.

Neither Amonte nor Chelios were involved in the trashing of rooms.
November 26, 200817 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 09:19 AM) Neither Amonte nor Chelios were involved in the trashing of rooms. Thanks, Steve. I now feel retroactively better about my team. Not necessarily USA hockey, but at least the Hawks.
November 26, 200817 yr QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 09:38 AM) Thanks, Steve. I now feel retroactively better about my team. Not necessarily USA hockey, but at least the Hawks. Haha, excellent.
November 26, 200817 yr Would you want to stay on the team with Old Man Wirtz chasing everyone with talent out of town when they were due for a contract and replacing them with scrubs? I don't blame Cheli one bit. I would have asked to be traded too. He went there and won and showed Wirtz what he gave away.. Edited November 26, 200817 yr by SoxFanForever
November 26, 200817 yr McDonough is really borrowing from the bag of tricks he used at his last place of employment: http://www.secondcityhockey.com/2008/11/25...t-getting-ridic A book about finally becoming relevant again? How about we hold off on the gushing literary works until this team actually accomplishes something on the ice?

November 27, 200817 yr QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 06:46 PM) You would. Well, I suppose it isn't quite free as I paid for the tickets!
November 27, 200817 yr Khabibulin off to a great start. The Sharks are attacking like crazy, but it's still a scoreless game.
November 27, 200817 yr Bulin hurt... hope its nothing serious. Didn't really look bad but ya never know. Probably a groin injury. Aaron Johnson is hurt from a hit from behind...looked bad. He did skate off on his own though. Edited November 27, 200817 yr by EvilJester99
November 27, 200817 yr Seabrook is becoming the Orlando Cabrerra in my mind to the Hawks Great game last night. The slow starts would be killing them if Khabby wasn't standing on his head early in these games. The book made me just shake my head. I get what they are trying to do I just think they are going over the top in getting there. It seems like we need to be over the top in making sure everyone knows we are fans of the team ala the cubs.
November 28, 200817 yr Remember, everyone, the Hawks play at 3:00 PM today (@ Anaheim) and tomorrow (@ L.A.). I'm hoping they can take one of these games, but both places seem to give them trouble. I guess I'd settle for 2 points any way they can get them (either win one of them or take them both to OT).
November 28, 200817 yr Well, that sucked. 1-0 Ducks win. Hawks were one-and-done all day as far as shots on goal. Oh well, go to LA and take one tomorrow!
November 28, 200817 yr We couldn't finish s*** tonight, had enough scoring chances to pot at least one.
November 29, 200817 yr Frustrating as hell I was in and out of watching hte game but it seemed that they controleld the tempo again, from what I saw. Huet with a nice outing but he can not seem to win.
November 29, 200817 yr Hawks look like absolute s*** so far again today. 1-0 Kings right now, should be at least 2-0 and maybe 3-0. They better get their heads out of their asses and start playing smarter.
November 29, 200817 yr Huet makes another GREAT save and then Sharp scores off a terrific pass from Seabrook. 1-1 now!
November 29, 200817 yr Bolland gets popped in the face with a high-stick and Kane scores on the power play! 2-1 Hawks!! This is more like it!!
