Heart says Wings in 7.

Head says Pens in 6.

I want my heart to be correct.

I think your heart's had enough happiness in the last two decades.

Why you tryin' to hurt my heart, man???

....Like there's such a thing as "enough happiness", anyway....

Amazing game...crap goal to end it. What I really hope is that the Wings have taken notice. That the young 'hawks are coming up behind them...and fast. Great game by Huet...stepped up when needed and kicked some ass. Awesome backhander by Kane. I think that's going to be his "signature." I think that was the second time he did that in the playoffs.

Blackhawks...hell of a season. Now take some time off...and get ready for next year!

Yeah, the Wings are getting older and the Hawks are rising - although I did like what I saw from a few of the younger guys the Wings plugged in when Datsyuk, Lidstrom and Draper went down.

Still, though, the Hawks are definitely on the upswing, but it's going to take some shrewd cap wrangling to shore things up in the next few years to both keep the core guys and get reinforcements.

I don't see enough IcePigs games to speak intelligently on who may or may not be coming up soon.

Dude, I've been waiting my whole life too!

They won their last one 2 years before I was born!

The Detroit Cups are "consolation prizes" to me.

My first sports heartbreaks were 1971 and 1973 - god-damned Canadiens!

Yep.

#1 and 2 favorite NHL teams. Became a fan of both teams at a very young age.

I don't believe in rivalries, I just like watching sports.

I like em both too actually, mostly because I really liked Stevie Y as a player and of course, Chelios.

You don't root for the player...you root for the sweater. Traitor.

Sounds like a deal should be consummated quickly.

It would be great to get Marty back without spending too much, and going too many years. He seems to be a guy who is less afraid in contract years if you get my drift.

I may be the only one watching, but this has been one hell of a f***ing hockey series.

No, you haven't. This has been unreal. To watch Malkin and company skate around that dump of a city on Friday night with a Cup in their hands would be a blessing.

Hockey is still going on?

Hockey is still going on?

Yep. Really exciting games being played, too.

There's one more on Friday, and the winner gets a VERY nice trophy.

If you're over 50 years old, you may remember seeing that trophy in Chicago once.

Trophy? I heard it is come kind of cup. Who needs another one of those? I have a whole bunch of souvenier cups in my cupboards from when I was a kid.

It's actually a big silver salad bowl mounted on a trophy.

It sounds tacky, but it looks quite nice.

Except, of course, for all the graffiti etched on it - it's like a whole bunch of people scratched their names into the nice sliver plating or something.

Tex...FlaJim...Yas...scenario...you guys were, what...around 55 when the Cup was last in Chicago?

I hope the Pens win,I hate all Detroit teams...Go Penguins!

Pens look like they are getting some help from the refs here....

Could be that they're just outplaying the Wings.

No there have been several non calls and a few non icing calls... I am rooting for the Pens but its ridiculous how so many missed calls are going on here.

Well, Bettman got what he wanted. It was weired to see so few power plays.
