So, since you don't oppose LGBT rights, the image isn't directed at you. Why take offense?

I do object to your phrasing that implies you don't think it's right to deny them their rights because of the society we live in. It's not right to deny people their rights regardless of the society you live in.

But the message in the image is that if I think that homosexuality is wrong I must be accepting of violent or disrespectful behavior, How is that not directed at me?

And let's stop pretending that there isn't a strong overlap between "oppose LGBT rights" and "would act with malice towards LGBT people, especially if it was their child"

I suggest you re-read that image.

If we stop pretending their isn't a strong overlap between the left that pushes this, and intolerance of religion.

Ha, ok fine. But even the inclusion of "rights" doesn't change my point. If I don't act on that and I just think it i'm not perpetuating malice behavior.

Wait a minute. 40-50% of the country thinks homosexuality is wrong. Are you suggesting that the vast majority of those people would be accepting of a father beating his child over it?

If you oppose LGBT rights you are perpetuating discriminatory behavior against that group. Discrimination is malice, and by opposing LGBT rights, you are helping to legitimize actions you might not personally take.

But you two both seem pretty hung up strictly on the physical violence aspect. You're missing a whole lot by focusing in on that, including what most of the signs say.

No, but by supporting all of the behavior to the left of that sign, they are helping to legitimize it. You're perpetuating second-class citizen status.

There's not a huge amount of anti-religious people in this country, but yeah there's going to be an overlap with people who are fighting religious-based bigotry and people who end up with a pretty unfavorable view of religion.

But that's still not equivalent to wanting to deny religious people their rights, which is what opposing LGBT rights does for another group.

I have a religious objection to Christianity. The Torah tells me that any Christian is in violation of the Gods law.

So can we take away Christian's rights for religious reasons? Because Christianity is in violation of the Second Commandment, have no other gods before me and graven images, also in violation of the Fourth Commandment (sabbath switched from Saturday to Sunday), and that is just the most important rules.

So if we are going to use the Old Testament to make laws in our society, a fair compromise is that if gay people cant marry because of the Old Testament, Christians cant marry.

I really do not want God to get angry with me for letting Christian sinners marry, in fact Im pretty sure that God would want me to stone them or do something horrendous to them.

Perhaps we should look to God and how he would handle the Christians, stoning.

Breaking Sabbath (Numbers 15:32-36)- Stoning

Engaging in idolatry (Deuteronomy 17:2-7) or seducing others to do so (Deut. 13:7-12)- Stoning

Also it should be noted that you should be stoned for the following:

Having sex with a blasphemer or idolater (any Christian)

I guess thats why I dont let religion tell me how to treat people, because according to the Old Testament, 99% of the world should probably be killed.

Oh and I know people will be shocked to find this out, but O'Keefe's latest undercover bust is hilarious dumb. The nefarious "non-citizen" voters he captured voting are, in actuality, naturalized citizens.

Sadly, O'Keefe's expose will likely remain in the conservative blogosphere psyche as evidence of voter fraud and the necessity of strict Voter ID laws.

Arizona's Secretary of State goes birther, requests confirmation of President Obama's birth from the State of Hawaii in response to email requests from his constituents, adds threat to keep him off of the ballot in November.

Well, it is interesting how his own "Kenyan born" self just now comes out of the wood work. If this guy had an ® behind his name, he'd have every line of coke molecule uncovered.

But you see, he's what people want him to be at the time. And you sheeple love it.

Hawaii's response is awesome.

I don't think you know what that word means.

Sheeple = you wonderful people who will ultimately vote for Barack Obama blindly because you don't give a damn where the country goes as long as everyone is "equal" and the marxist/socialistic reforms that are gradually making us more like Europe every day continues. You know, "for the little people". Your freedoms are being taken from you every day, yet you want more of it. There you go, sheeple. If the shoe fits, wear it. If not, go back to blindly giving away your life to your government, you know, for fairness and all.

Yawn.

It's really not even worth acknowledging this crap.

The worst part is, there's a chance you actually think that.

As was it was said:

Bah bah black sheep, have you any wool?

Read your Nietzsche and get back to me on who he would consider sheep. Check out Genealogy of Morals, Beyond Good and Evil and The Twilight of Idols.

Its just tiresome to read Nietzsche brutalized by you, at least just come up with a new term if your going to steal his ideas and not actually understand them, maybe goats? That way you arent just parroting another author's ideas incorrectly.
