That was in reference to her college admissions, which she was using to make a point that AA allowed her to get in and then flourish. Not her appointments to various judiciary positions.

The anti-democratic, human-rights violating Malaysian government has been paying a range of conservative columnists in places like the Huffington Post and National Review thousands of dollars to run propaganda pieces for years.

It seems that some years ago Malaysia’s ruling party took a good look at leading pundits and policy intellectuals in the conservative movement, reached a judgment about their personal and intellectual integrity or lack thereof, and acted in accordance with that judgment.

Funny how Malaysia gets who these people are and what motivates them — while our own press corps doesn’t.

I stopped letting myself be surprised by corruption within media organizations a while ago.

Yeah, The Atlantic had a pretty bad incident last month when they let the Church of Scientology run a paid advertisement disguised in their editorial section.

Damn I want some Malaysian dictatorial money.

Malaysia is great! Go there and support the wonderful and nice government they have!

Eat your heart out Joshua Treviño!!!

I agree. I could guess the leanings of the person telling it, but they were deliberate to not suggest particular policy prescriptions. Obviously, we all know that cutting taxes for the wealthy will fix that distribution.

It seemed more descriptive rather than normative.

The "Dreaded Socialism" (in quotes), the Obama styling, the 1% crap. Just a new liberal brainwashing video, its popular though so it'll probably turn a couple weak minded idiots who want to blame someone else for their problems.

Seemed more descriptive than normative.

Do you want to make a normative claim for the status quo?

As an increasing number of Americans get more and more lazy the majorities' share of the wealth gets smaller and smaller.

correct; members of the bourgeoisie are becoming more and more parasitic at the expense of the working classes.

Show me your proof. With statistics please.

Somebody paid a Dominican woman to claim Sen. Menendez paid her for sex. This story was first "reported" on the "news" website Daily Caller, bounced around the conservative media world and then eventually picked up by traditional media.
