Obviously, the bigger opponent is Detroit... yet i'm going to take the Rangers game, in the sense that we perhaps deserved it a little more (goes a long way with me)

and also there was a revenge angle with Wilson.

I suppose some will always delight in revenge against Maggs, but I never really saw his break from the team as an insult to us.

I voted for 7/25 just because it was against Detroit, division foe, and we had 2 outs, nobody on and 0-2 on Q before BOOM!

I have really come to despise the Tigers.

crap, the two outs. yea who am i kidding, i'm gonna get 'landslid.'

I feel strongly both ways about those two games

Actually maybe the Texas game just casue iut was payback time for CQ and the Sox

I believe alot of us have the man crushes on Quentin so thats how 7/23 is getting votes.Because yesterdays win was about as big as they come.

Yesterday. Anytime you can stick a dagger in heart of a division foe, I am all for it. There is a huge difference between having a team 4.5 out and 6.5 out.

Last night was definitely bigger. More enjoyable for me would have to be last night as well simply because I was at work during the win on Wednesday and last night I was listening on the radio until the very end so I obviously went nuts when JD went deep.

The road game

I think its only a dagger if we win tonight...Sure you can shock them for a night but to me it comes down to if you can make them feel it again, keep em down, time to drown out the Tigers...

Beating the Tigers on the road.

Especially since Jermaine's hit with 2 outs in the 9th inning was the first time we lead the entire game.

That's a great psych factor to put in the Tigers' heads.

The Texas game was nice, but who really cares about beating Texas at home? We're expected to win those games.

I was quietly relieved when we beat Texas, but I screamed so loud I scared the dog when Dye hit his dinger. That was the difference for me.

Edited by scenario

It was a huge win. The Sox could play like crap the next 2 games and only lose 1 in the standings for the series. I like their chances getting at least 1 more win here. Split in Minnesota, win 2 out of 3 in KC and they are on their way.

last night, the game was written off down to last strike and then whammo...was my favorite game of the year (glad I TIVO'd the game when my GF had me watch something else for a bit.)

Last night. It'll be interesting to see how they respond.

I wonder though how long it will take before we read the trade Dye while his value is high posts on this board?
