AJP shouldn't be hitting in the 2nd spot of the order then. You can't play for one run like this against Boston when you have a terrible bullpen.

I hate you OC....this inning won't go well. Floyd's the worst in baseball at pitching over an error, and every OC error seems to lead to a huge inning.

You got Dye and Thome coming up with bases loaded and one out. They had it in their hands to break the game open. If we are a one man team, which we may be, we are in trouble. The big dollar veterans failed there; hope we can still win.

 

I liked the bunt...the problem was Dye and Thome couldn't deliver. The table was set for them, they failed. Having runners at 2nd and third with less than 2 out IS ALWAYS a good play when youre already winning by 2 runs with a pitcher that's in pretty good control.
