Call me crazy, but if a guy hasn't been able to get people out for a couple months in AAA, chances are he will have trouble getting people out in the major leagues. This one is on KW.

The Royals offense is not so great that Broadway shouldn't be able to give 5 innings of 5 run ball which the offense should be able to overcome althoug hAlex Gordon just took an inning away from Broadway right there.

Byrd was claimed before Jose went down. There was no way the Sox were going to claim Byrd when Contreras was coming back. On top of it, Contreras has been the better pitcher this year anyway.

Let's just hope no one gets hurt. Too bad we couldn't just forfeit and move on. Catch an earlier flight to Oakland. Zero runs in two games, then two before even one out. The bullpen gets worn out, and nothing for Oakland. This could cost us two or thyree games. Or leave Broadway in for 6 or 7 no matter what.
