Keep dreaming. It seems everyone wants to point their finger at Javy and say something is wrong. Its easy to do and I find it fairly annoying. The guy just sucks, give it a rest.

I never liked the trade from the beginning, but I rooted for him, and still will as long as he's with the Sox. If I was there I wouldn't have booed him, but I can understand why he is getting booed. The guy can't be effective in a big game. I remember earlier this year he got the 6th or 7th with a no hitter, might've been a perfect game at the time and we lost after he gave up a monsterous inning. When the pressure gets to him, he doesn't perform.

I am just saying we shouldn't assume he doesn't care. I think he cares.

 

The fact that he sucks is undeniable.

I was there. And booing. If I felt like he was giving us 110% every time out there, I wouldn't boo. But I just can't cheer for someone who seems content with mediocrity.

 

Personally, I would not have booed if I were there, but this a good point nonetheless.

A guy who is pretty much a .500 lifetime pitcher sux? Wow.

Nope Javy is a lifetime 5th starter. It's frustrating because we all see that with his stuff, he should be better, but he's not and never will be. Is that his fault? Maybe. The real fault lies in teams expecting him and paying to do more.

Really disappointing. We're all frustrated with him, no doubt. But why upset this guy when he's probably going to be coming out of the pen in Game 4 or 5 and is going to give everything he's got, even if it isnt a ton this late in the year.

Agreed. He cares there is no doubt and he is as upset as anyone, maybe more so, that he can't deliver when needed. He sure has the talent.
