I find it to be a good thing that there are a lot of new faces on that list.

They don't even bother with this pointless award, so why should I bother caring.

 

I highly doubt Maddux's old, fat ass was the best fielding pitcher in the NL this year.

I love it.

McLouth winning is a joke, a classic example of winning the gold glove with your bat. I think all of the other first time winners (Phillips, Victorino, Gonzalez, and Molina) are quite deserving though, especially Phillips and Molina.

Michael Young is definitely one of the worse SS's in the league, MLB really needs to re-work the way these rewards are decided. Right now its a joke and even most casual baseball fans could tell you that.

Michael Young is almost as bad as Jeter. This is pathetic.

How exactly are gold gloves awarded? Like the voting process, who actually votes? This has turned to the most overrated award in baseball.

I think managers and coaches vote. Considering the flak fans get for their ASG selections, I don't think these guys have done any better with their GG voting over the years.

I think I can agree with most of these picks. I disagree with Maddux, McLouth, Young, and Hunter.
