I wasn't referring to valido specifically, i was just saying that other teams THINK we have talent. Baltimore wouldn't have taken him if they thought he sucked.

Somehow...I think that he is a worthy successor to Tejada.

I'm still confused as to why the Cubs had no room for Veal on their 40. The kid can pitch, and Rothschilds no dummy. Donnie Veal has a future in baseball.

Trade Dye for Bailey straight up and sign Abreu and that would be 39. And that's not taking in to account adding any additional folks to the roster, i.e. Beckham or Poreda. (although pretty much everyone else but them and Viciedo that I think might be up this year is already there).
